This tenth journal or blog was written whilst in Thailand over the summer period 2026. Although it's called the "10th", I've actually traveled Thailand firstly in 2007, twice in 2011 and three times in 2012 which are not documented on-line, so this is visit to Thailand No.16.
We opted for this period to make full use of our youngest son's school holidays. As usual, we have lots of family members to go visit and old friends to catch up with as well as taking a genuine holiday somewhere; probably on one of Thailand's fantastic islands and into the mountains.
There's a LOT to pack into this trip to Thailand and a LOT of kilometers to drive in my ageing but trusty Toyota truck.

Anyway, here’s the journal/blog:-
Our itinerary on this trip was:.....
1. Early start and the 45 minute trip to Manchester Airport. This time we're flying Etihad; stopover at Abu Dhabi.
2. Taxi from Suvarnabhumi Airport, BKK to our apartment in Khlong Toei off fthe Sukhumvit Road near Nana.
3. Three night stay in Bangkok.
PHEW!! That's quite a complex (and epensive) visit to LOS.
